Structural & Frame Repair
Frame and unibody damage is not something you can see from the outside. Our Apple Valley shop measures the structure electronically and pulls it back to the manufacturer's specifications, so your vehicle drives straight and protects you the way it was designed to.

Why frame repair matters
Modern vehicles are engineered so the structure absorbs crash energy in a specific way. Even a moderate collision can push the frame or unibody out of alignment by a few millimeters, enough to cause uneven tire wear, doors that do not close right, and, most importantly, a car that will not protect you properly in a second accident. Structural repair puts those dimensions back where the manufacturer set them.
How we repair frames in Apple Valley
- Electronic measuring. The vehicle is measured against the manufacturer's data points before, during, and after the repair, and you get a printout showing it is within specification.
- Frame straightening. Controlled pulls on a frame rack bring the structure back into alignment without weakening the metal.
- Sectioning and replacement. When a rail or pillar cannot be safely straightened, it is replaced following the OEM procedure, including the correct welds, adhesives, and corrosion protection.
- High-strength steel and aluminum. Many newer vehicles use ultra-high-strength steel and aluminum that cannot be heated or pulled like ordinary steel. Our technicians are trained on the right procedure for each material.
- Wheel alignment and calibration. After structural work we align the vehicle and recalibrate any driver-assistance sensors that were affected (ADAS calibration).
Signs your vehicle may have frame damage
- The car pulls to one side or the steering wheel is off-center
- Uneven gaps between panels, or doors, hood, or trunk that do not close cleanly
- Uneven tire wear after a collision
- Visible creases or bends in the rails under the vehicle
Insurance and frame repair
Structural repairs are usually covered under a collision claim. We document every measurement for the insurer and handle supplements when hidden damage is found after teardown. Learn how we work with your carrier on our insurance claim assistance page, and see the manufacturers that certify our structural work on our certifications page.
What Apple Valley drivers say
“I am very satisfied! Amazing customer service from all team members that helped me. Quick and easy process with updates along the way and estimated finishing dates. They even finished sooner than expected. 10/10 recommend!”
Melissa
“The accident happened on Sunday, I took the car in Monday and picked it up Tuesday. Luis was a man of his word. He said a day or two, and it only took one. Thank you to Cindy for driving me home and picking me up the next day. I would definitely recommend Fix Auto to my friends and family.”
Rosemary
“They did a great job. The lady in the office even found a dent I had missed when I came to pick it up. They fixed and painted it and still got it back to me the same day, saving me another day on my rental. Returned clean inside and out. Highly recommend.”
