Acura's certified collision program holds shops to the same standards Honda uses for ProFirst, with the added training and parts access Acura's luxury models require. Fix Auto Apple Valley is an Acura Certified Collision shop.
What the Acura certification covers
Acura Certified Collision shops must hold I-CAR Gold Class training, own Acura-specified equipment, follow Acura's repair procedures, and pass an inspection of the facility and its quality process. The program is administered alongside Honda ProFirst but adds the requirements specific to Acura vehicles.
Why it matters for Acura owners
- Body structure. Acura vehicles use high-strength and ultra-high-strength steels that require specific welding, sectioning, and bonding procedures.
- AcuraWatch. Cameras and radar are recalibrated to Acura's specification after the repair (ADAS calibration).
- Finish quality. Acura's multi-stage paint colors need careful color matching and blending, which we do in a downdraft booth with computerized color reading (paint and refinish).
- Genuine Acura parts. We source genuine parts and explain the difference whenever your policy allows alternatives.
